Rick Recht Live Tour
Rick Recht is the top-touring artist of Jewish Rock in the United States. He has revolutionized and elevated the genre of Jewish rock music as a powerful and effective tool for developing Jewish pride and identity in Jewish youth and adults. Recht's electrifying live performances have captured the hearts of a generation of fans discovering the power and inspiration of contemporary Jewish music. Recht is known for regularly featuring local musicians, choirs, vocal soloists and other Jewish entertainers on stage with the band during his concerts and Shabbat Alive services.
Each summer, Recht and his band embark on an extensive summer tour performing at URJ, Ramah, Young Judaea, JCC, and private camps around the country, garnering a feverish following among Jewish youth and national Jewish youth group movements. Recht has been featured at the NFTY, BBYO, and USY International conventions, the URJ (Union of Reform Judaism) Biennial, CCAR (Central Conference of American Rabbis) conference, the ACC (American Conference of Cantors), CAJE (Coalition for the Advancement of Jewish Education), Hillel Leaders Conference, and Jewish communities, synagogues, Hillels, Jewish day schools, and Jewish arts festivals across the US.
Recht's Tear Down the Walls is a national educational initiative featuring youth, interfaith anti-bias classes culminating with giant community multi-cultural, interfaith concerts ( www.teardownthewalls.org).
